How These Sisters Became Online Music Stars

It’s hard to imagine four young girls, aged 16, 14, 13, and 11 all coming together to form a successful singing quartet, and yet that’s exactly what the Haschak Sisters have accomplished. With a little over 2.3 million subscribers on YouTube, the musical sisters have certainly made a name for themselves on the internet.

Here’s how they did it.

1. They’ve established a solid image.

With four young girls, it’d be easy to go a little overboard in creating their perfect image. Despite this temptation, however, the girls have managed to set a fixed image that appeals to their equally young audience. By acting their age, using cheerful backgrounds, and even choosing music that matches their upbeat personalities, the girls have found their niche in the YouTube world.

2. They cover the most popular tunes and even a few throwbacks.

In addition to writing their own music, the girls have found extreme success in covering the latest songs as well as some old ones. From Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” to the Spice Girl’s “Wannabe,” the girls have been raking in the views, with the Bieber cover, in particular, reaching over 98 million views.

By covering the most current music, while also throwing in a few well-known hits, the girls keep their audience engaged and continue to expand their musical aspirations.

3. They interact with fans through behind-the-scenes videos.

Apart from originals and cover, the girls’ YouTube channel is filled with music video behind-the-scenes, home videos, morning routines and more. This fun insight into the girls’ lives adds a more personal touch than what most fans are used to getting from their favorite artists.

Because their favorite artists invite them into their personal lives, fans check in on a weekly basis to see what’s new, not knowing whether they’ll get an original, a cover, or some sort of home video.

Beginning a music career is never easy, but having your three sisters by your side must make it a tad more interesting.
