Vlogger and singer-songwriter Dodie Clark just released her second EP, You. The EP is doing well on iTunes, and fans have been sharing their love for the new album all across social media.
Here’s how Dodie is promoting her new EP.
1. She held an art contest to have fans help hype the new release.
The day before You released, Dodie announced an art contest on Twitter. Fans who entered a piece of You-inspired art using the hashtag #PreorderYouOniTunes had the chance to win a signed copy of the EP.
The contest encouraged fans to get creative and helped hype Dodie’s new EP.

2. She put performance videos for all of the songs on YouTube.
Dodie’s main YouTube channel is dedicated to music. She releases new songs often, and all of the songs on her EP were featured in unique performance videos on her channel. However, fans had to download the EP to hear the complete studio versions.
3. She’s been posting a new vlog every day of the month.
On her vlog channel, Dodie has been doing VEDA, “Video Every Day in August.” She’s used the daily videos to share stories and such surrounding the EP’s creation. She’s also linked the purchase information in the video descriptions.
