However, it wasn’t long ago that she was a young teen on Nickelodeon’s Victorious and Sam and Cat. This arises one important question for aspiring artists.

1. She switched up her look.
The first step in Ariana’s transition required her literally changing her image, or in this case, her physical appearance. During her TV days, Ariana was known for her fire engine-red hair, but when it came time to move onto her musical path, she made a clear cut change by coloring her hair and growing out her locks.

3. She didn’t abandon her past completely.

Her appearances in shows such as Scream Queens, Hairspray Live! and even Zoolander 2 reminded fans of the old Ariana, and they showed how much she has grown over the past few years.
