More frequent uploads can help you grow your channel, but to keep your place in the algorithm, you only need to upload once a week. If you’re uploading daily or multiple times a week, consider cutting back to a single weekly upload.

To make the most of your weekly video, upload at the same time on the same day every week. Make your subscribers aware of your new upload schedule so they know when to expect new content.

Pre-film several videos at once so you can take time off from filming.

While the YouTube algorithm doesn’t quite allow for time off from uploading, you can buy yourself some time off from filming by planning ahead. First, think of several video ideas you can film in the same day.
