Here’s how to promote your channel locally.
1. Create a custom geofilter on Snapchat to celebrate your next upload.
On Snapchat, geofilters vary by location. Only people in a certain area can see the filter and post pictures using it. Geofilters are often used to announce cool events. By creating a custom geofilter, you can announce your next video upload to the Snapchat users in your community.
Be sure to include your channel name and the main theme of the video. You can also include your Bitmoji and a few cool emojis to pique people’s interest.

2. Do a few shows or meetups in your area.
If you do comedy or music, then you should try to book a few shows in your area. Reach out to local venues such as clubs, restaurants, and small theaters. Send them links to your most popular videos and outline your ideas for a performance.
If you don’t want to perform, then you can host a local meetup instead. Choose a public space in a big city near you and schedule a meetup with your fans. Place such as parks or malls can be good for meetups, but if you think a lot of people will attend, then be sure to call the place ahead of time to get permission. Also be sure to announce the meetup to your viewers well in advance.

3. Tag your location in YouTube-related Instagram posts.
When visiting a new area, many people check out its tagged Instagram posts. When you tag your location in a public post, anyone can find it by searching for that location. This is a great way to advertise your videos to anyone visiting your community.
When you upload a new YouTube video, go out on the town and find a cool place for an Instagram picture. Tag the location, but make the caption about your new upload or whatever you’re doing with your channel.
